An autonomous ground breacher for small tactical units.
CODiAQ is an armed quadruped delivering remote direct fire and breaching for small tactical units. It is a lethality kit for the Ghost Robotics Vision 60 Q-UGV, built for SOF, backed by USG funding, and delivering under an active SSO CD&I procurement objective.
The system is tested and proven. Safety Release has been granted, ATEC testing is complete at Aberdeen Proving Ground, and the platform is being fully U.S. manufactured by end of FY26 under an SSO CD&I procurement objective.
Targeting runs on EXITUS AI, Skyborne's proprietary targeting software. It fuses EO and IR sensor data for AI-assisted target recognition, with multi-target detection out to 400m in daylight and 200m at night, plus onboard ballistic computation.
For payloads, CODiAQ carries the HAVOC 40mm for standoff engagement and the CHAOS 12GA for
ballistic breaching and close-quarters clears, with a 90-second weapon swap between the two. Ammunition is standard, already approved, and familiar to the operator.
Operationally, the platform is rated MIL-STD-810H for mechanical shock and vibration and IP67 for the environment, built for real operational conditions. It is radio-agnostic by design, ATAK compatible, and shares a common GCS and payloads across Skyborne's air and ground platforms.
The kill chain runs find, fix, track, target, engage, assess. EXITUS AI closes the loop on the ground, fusing EO/IR data, classifying targets, and computing ballistic solutions, while the operator retains authority over every engagement, keeping human-in-the-loop engagement consistent with DoDD 3000.09 principles.
CODiAQ has been live-fire tested at Gryphon Group in Maxton, NC, with USSOCOM and US law enforcement personnel, reducing operational risk for the tactical unit.
